The difference between cheap asphalt work versus quality is all in the base preparation performed before we apply the asphalt.
If the base is not properly compacted , leveled down and treated with herbicide, then you can truly expect to have problems down the road. (Pun intended!)
We take extra precautions in making sure the base is right before we pave anything. We always treat the area to be paved with a commercial grade herbicide to kill any weed or grass that might try to grow through the asphalt. You see, the lime in the rock and asphalt acts like a miracle grow for vegetation. Most people don't want to see weeds growing up through their new driveway.
Asphalt should be placed on at least 2 inches of rock base material. Any less and you can't properly compact the road. If the base is not compacted properly, rocks will push up through the asphalt.
We offer a full one year warranty on our asphalt , something that you will not get from most paving companies. We do not go around to houses knocking on doors telling people we have some asphalt left on our truck and will give a super deal on their driveway and pave it without prep work. That way is not good for the customer. We build our business on quality workmanship and lasting business relationships. I want every customer to be a repeat customer for years to come.

We build and pave driveways for residential applications, layout dig and pour footings for houses, dig basements, clear lots, rough grade and final grade yards, and place backfill.
We do a lot of work in the new Goosepond Island subdivision, in the Promenade, and the Oaks, and for Woodland Homes in their development at Lake Pointe.
Our commercial work involves a full line excavation company offering all aspects of site work, paving and utilities. Paving services feature curb and gutter installation as well. We specialize in parking lot paving and overlay.
We also offer paint striping and symbols.
